CV110-5 Handout – Making Your Label Styles Work for You in Civil 3D

Autodesk University CV110-5 Handout in PDF format

For all the folks that registered for my class at AutoDESK University this year, you can download the DOC file from the link in this post. The file is 28 pages and looks best when printed in color.

Thank you for attending!

For those of you who are using an earlier version of MS Word, here is a viewer that will allow you to open the DOCX format.

I tried downloding your file, but it’s not a DOC file intead is a xml file. How do I change this?

Thanks for the great class….. btw, I like your blog theme (wink)

Also downloaded the .zip file, but found no document. I’m running Word 2007, but it seems the only files in this download are 1kb .xml files (not recognized by Word). If possible, please email me the handout (or provide it to AU, and I can then login and download it from there). Thanks.

I am confused by the description for you session. Unfortunately I attended this session and was highly dissapointed. Not only did you neglect to cover anything your description talked about but when you did cover something relevant you used note labels instead of harnessing the powerful object labels that each act and work differently. I wish the session would have covered reasons to distinguish between bylayer and bystyle. I would have also like to hear how to “Make your label styles work for you in Civil3D.” Instead the session seemed more like a half assed intro for “How to use note labels in civil 3d” The Handout is better than I was expecting but I still feel it is lacking. Thanks for your time anyways, the class “sounds” good but thats as far as I would go.
